Our client is looking for a Software Engineer. Your key focus in this role will be to contribute to the success of a project team that is responsible for enhancing existing systems or developing new systems for the organisation and its clients. You will be developing software designs, as well as coding and testing according to specific work packages and project needs, all in accordance with designated company standards of methodology, style, and quality. You will also need to be able to communicate technical issues and decisions clearly and proactively to key stakeholders. It is essential that you possess hands-on experience with:  

• C# 
• Restful and Web APIs 
• Experience of building cloud-native solutions with Azure and/or AWS is preferred. 
• Front-end experience with Angular or React is desirable. 

You will also have: 

• 5+ years’ experience in a software development team environment  
• A relevant IT tertiary qualification  
• Knowledge of software development process and practice, e.g. Kanban and Agile methodologies  
• The ability to learn new technologies quickly  
• Strong communication skills  
• Strong problem diagnosis and investigation skills.

The location of the role is in Christchurch.
