Our client is looking for an IT Analyst Programmer. Reporting to the IT Manager, this role is responsible for developing and maintaining sound knowledge of the design, development, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of their business systems and in particular – asset tracking software and ERP interfaces. Key responsibilities include:

• Design develop and testing mobile and desktop applications utilising C++/Qt & relational databases
• Develop and test secure network interfaces using REST and Node.js technologies
• Ensuring strong customer focus by maintaining agreed SLA’s
• Developing, monitoring and maintaining applications and databases including asset tracking and ERP interfaces, undertaking application performance tuning
• Ensuring best practice SDLC methodologies are followed and reviewed
• Reviewing and maintaining system / application documentation
• Developing system generated reports
• Ensuring a thorough Change Management / Release Management method at all times
• Providing technical advice to management on asset tracking software, ERP interfaces and application matters and contributing to the design and development of business solutions
• Liaising with external service providers for the provision of external services
• Coordinate and carry out training for other team members and users of new/modified systems as required
• Ensure a safe workplace for all staff and customers by maintaining compliance with all WHS regulations.

The location of the role is in Sydney.
