Getting started

Home Getting started

AlwinBridge™ begins simply.

Install AlwinBridge™ from the Apple App Store onto an iPad. Once installed, open the app and you are ready to begin.

There is no complex setup process. The iPad already contains everything needed to use AlwinBridge™. From the moment it opens, you are presented with a clear starting point.

You do not need to prepare stories in advance. You do not need to record anything before it becomes useful.

AlwinBridge™ has been designed so that the first experience is straightforward and reassuring.

Begin by adding a story

When AlwinBridge™ opens, you will see a library of available stories.

These demonstration stories are available for you to add to your collection. You may choose one, several, or all of them. You can also return later and add others.

Once a story has been added, it appears in your personal library and can be opened immediately.

At this stage, nothing needs to be personalised. You may simply open the story and see how it appears on screen.

This allows you to understand the structure naturally, without instruction.

Explore at your own pace

AlwinBridge™ is designed to be explored gradually.

You may begin simply by:

  • opening a story
  • turning the pages
  • watching and listening

There is no requirement to record anything on the first day.

Some families choose to observe how a story works before making any changes. Others begin recording a page straight away.

Both approaches are valid.

Nothing is permanent at the beginning

At this stage, you are simply becoming familiar with the environment.

Stories can be added. They can be explored. They can be personalised later.

There is no risk of making a mistake. There is no requirement to complete anything fully before it becomes useful.

AlwinBridge™ is designed so that the first step feels natural and manageable.

From simple beginnings

The intention of Getting started is not to introduce complexity.

It is to allow you to:

  • see how stories appear
  • understand the page and video layout
  • experience how the child will see the story

From there, each additional step becomes easier.

AlwinBridge™ supports this gradual progression, allowing you to begin simply and build confidence over time.
