Our client is looking for a Chief Technology Officer. Reporting to the Managing Director and collaborating closely with the wider senior leadership team, the Chief Technology Officer will play an essential role in driving growth and innovation for the business. You will hold accountability for the company’s IT strategies to support revenue and profitability expansion by delivering latest innovation and speed to the network.

Key to this delivery will be your ability to identify and apply emerging technologies shaping digital services; market disruption and customer satisfaction. Providing day-to-day hands on leadership with your team, you will foster a culture and mindset centred on the customer. Other key areas of focus:  

• Oversee the ongoing development of customer facing platforms and the customer experience, driving continuous improvements in product quality and speed of delivery 
• Support leaders to translate the IT strategy into operational artefacts, including technology roadmaps, operating plans and budgets 
• Re-design the current Information technology operating model and unify teams, technologies, processes and tooling with agility as the outcome
• Manage effective IT security, compliance and risk management 
• Maintain a deep understanding of the software industry and technology trends to anticipate and identify business opportunities 
• Undertake technology due diligence 
• Cultivate strong working relationships with colleagues in the global IT function. 

The location of the role is in Sydney.
