Our client is looking for an IT Director. The Director of IT Applications and Ops will lead a dynamic team of IT professionals who develop technology capabilities, delivering great experiences for internal and external customers. This individual interacts with peers on the IT and business teams to ensure consistent and reliable delivery of business solutions and results. This position will also be accountable for strategic thinking, research and development and the introduction of new technologies to ensure the organization is taking full advantage of what the marketplace has to offer to meet their customers’ demands for a full and complete shopping experience. Things you will be working on:

• Manage the projects, associates, and communications of the IT Teams, as well as with business partners
• Build a world class IT team – a team who works together well and partners in the organization to drive strong business results
• Work with multi channels of management to identify, define, and prioritize IT investments required to meet the strategic objectives of the company.
• Manage the strategic and tactical project plans of the team, setting schedules, resource assignments, and reporting status.
• Ensure proper application of the IT project lifecycle.
• Manage the activities and development of team members, working with them to set performance measures, identify professional development goals, and set priorities
• Manage the technology direction and tools of the team, ensuring that appropriate standards are set, maintained, followed and reported on regularly
• Work with other IT leaders and teams to ensure proper application of technologies, integration, and use of resources.

The location of the role is in Fort Worth.
